Change MAC address in ubuntu

Install macchanger:

$ sudo apt-get -y install macchanger macchanger-gtk

GUI Macchanger:
Disable network card before change MAC address.

$ sudo ifconfig eth0 down

$ sudo macchanger-gtk

Enable network card after change MAC address:

$ sudo ifconfig eth0 up

OR

Create a script to run as command:

$ sudo touch /usr/sbin/fakemac.sh

$ sudo chmod +x /usr/sbin/fakemac.sh
$ sudo vi /usr/sbin/fakemac.sh

Add:

#!/bin/sh


ifconfig wlan0 down
macchanger -m 11:22:33:44:55:66 wlan0
ifconfig wlan0 up

Save and Close

USe fake mac address,

$ sudo fakemac.sh

Note:
eth0 is my network cable interface
wlan0 is my wireless interface
11:22:33:44:55:66 is MAC Address, you may change it.
